Repeat Prescriptions
Prescriptions Fees

If you are on regular medication and your doctor feels your prescription can be repeated without you being seen each time, you will be given a ‘repeat prescription form’.

When you need a repeat prescription the form should be handed into reception or posted to the surgery: please enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you wish your prescription to be posted back to you.

Please request your medication allowing two working days (48 hours) for the prescription to be processed.  If your chemist is requesting the prescription for you, please allow longer.

Mrs Elaine Edlin is our prescription clerk and she is here at the surgery from 9:00 - 14.00 each day.

Please note St Mary’s is not a dispensing practice but there are several pharmacies nearby.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.

Please allow two full working days between requesting and collecting your medication
